Reviews and Ratings
I had a decent experience at the hotel during my visit, with a spacious suite that definitely made my stay enjoyable. However, there were a few negatives, such as insufficient housekeeping services and limited breakfast options available. The location was quite convenient, and I appreciated the free parking. Overall, I would consider returning, but I wish certain services were improved.
We had a decent stay at the hotel with its charming older building and great location near some lovely restaurants and shops. The ambiance was unique and the room had some character, but it did feel a bit worn down and smaller than expected, which was disappointing. The service left much to be desired, as the staff didn’t seem particularly attentive or friendly. Overall, it had its moments of charm, but is in desperate need of some TLC to match the price we paid.
My stay wasn't ideal, particularly given the high price. The motel section left much to be desired, with maintenance issues like a leaky toilet and unpleasant smells. However, the lobby's beauty and the historic charm of the property added some value to the experience. Overall, I wouldn't return given the problems in the room and service shortcomings.
This hotel exudes historic charm and provides a clean, spacious environment for a comfortable stay. The unique decor adds character, and the service from the staff truly enhances the experience. However, breakfast options are limited, and the annex rooms might be a tad less appealing than the main building. All in all, it offers good value for those wanting to explore Oak Park and Chicago.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious, but the air conditioning was quite loud and a bit outdated. The location was excellent for exploring downtown Oak Park, and the parking was a huge plus. However, it was concerning to deal with the staff's limitation in accessing supplies like pillows. Overall, while there were great aspects, there were also some areas needing improvement.
